This is Maggie Mae, our schnoodle. We just celebrated having her in our family for four years just yesterday! She has been the best addition to our family since, well, since I moved in! >.< We adopted her from a rescue group here in town, which saves dogs from high-kill shelters in other states. I can’t even imagine this furball’s life being on the line, but at any rate, everything worked out and the timing was right for all of us to come together. Maggie loves her toys, which are Nylabones (bacon flavored), ball, and ring. She can’t have nice things like plush toys because she destroys them in twenty seconds. She also enjoys going everywhere with us – kayaking, SUP, hiking, road trips, camping, walks to the farmer’s market, shopping, EVERYTHING.
I have completely destroyed my productivity today by discovering this show this morning.
This is my current travel pack. I just wrote a review for it on REI.com. After searching high and low, and trying several different backpacks, and taking a few trips of different lengths to different climates, I’m still not sure this is the perfect pack for me. 😦
“Nothing prepared me for being this awesome. It’s kind of a shock. It’s kind of a shock to wake up every morning and be bathed in this purple light.” – Bill Murray
I finally became a certified Open Water diver! I did the Padi Online Course at home a few months before I left, and completed my confined and open water dives in two days as soon as I arrived on Roatan. I went through Coconut Tree Divers. I’ll talk more about them later. They are the BEST!
Hi there! I’m going to be adding some dummy posts until I get an idea of what the layout looks like, but expect to see posts about travel, gardening, living in Seattle, and just the outdoors in general! Oh, and food. And my schnoodle. Thanks! 🙂
